The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is seeking a qualified partner to support statewide asthma education and improve systems of care for individuals living with asthma. The selected contractor will collaborate with ODH to develop and disseminate evidence-based educational resources, provide professional training, and promote best practices for asthma prevention, diagnosis, management, and care coordination.

Funding will support activities that strengthen asthma education for healthcare providers, school personnel, community partners, and families through training, digital resources, educational materials, and collaborative outreach. The initiative also includes developing virtual learning opportunities, supporting continuing education, and increasing access to reliable asthma information across Ohio.

This investment is intended to improve asthma management, reduce the burden of asthma on Ohio residents, enhance coordination among healthcare and community partners, and ultimately improve health outcomes and quality of life for children and adults living with asthma.

Offerors will need to review the attached RFP DOH 61269 - Asthma Education: Building a System of Care to Improve Patient Compliance and Provider Confidence in the Medical Home for SRC0000040491. Each Offeror must submit a technical proposal and cost proposal as part of its total proposal before the closing date and time, which is 8/ 6 /2026 at 3:00PM.
