Background
The scope of work for this project consists of safety improvements at three intersections implemented within each existing intersection's footprint: Jesse Owens Parkway and Baseline Road, 7th Street and McDowell Road, and Cave Creek Road and Greenway Parkway. The project includes modernization of the traffic signal system by installing new signals, incorporating flashing yellow arrows for left-turn movements, and upgrading pedestrian signal equipment. Additional improvements include upgrading of ADA-compliant curb ramps, and targeted crosswalk illumination to improve pedestrian visibility.
