The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm fixed-price, non-personal service contract for Maintenance and Repair Services for Candela GentleMax Pro Derm Laser at Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The anticipated period of performance is from 01 November 2025 through 31 October 2026 (base period), with four (4) one-year option periods, and includes FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.
The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to Candela Corporation since they are the sole authorized sales and service agent for its full line of products. They are also the sole authorized manufacturer; sole provider and exclusive supplier of all Candela laser systems.
