Title: Sources Sought Notice for Mid-Wave Infrared Distributed Feedback Laser Systems
BACKGROUND
The Chemical Sciences Division (CSD) of the Material Measurement Laboratory (MML) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) mission is to provide the measurement science, standards, and data that support the nation's needs in chemical, biological, and materials sciences. This purchase directly supports the Division's mission by providing the necessary laser instrumentation to maintain precision in chemical measurement research and spectroscopic analysis. The acquisition of these specific Mid-Wave Infrared Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser components is critical to advancing the division’s ongoing experimental capabilities and high-accuracy measurements. NIST requires a Mid-Wave Infrared Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser systems and associated hardware. These items are required to support the specialized optical and spectroscopic research requirements within the Chemical Sciences Division.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Material Measurement Laboratory (MML) has a requirement for a Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Detector and is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a solution that will achieve the specifications described below:
