SPECIAL NOTICE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley VA Medical Center, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida, is planning to solicit sole source to Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc, for repair of the Siemens Aera MRI system for replacement of the compressor. This contract includes all labor, materials, and parts for the Siemens Aera MRI system on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. must perform maintenance and repairs to system and ensure system operates according to manufacturer s specifications. This requirement will be classified under NAICS code 811210 with a size standard of $34,000,000.00. No solicitation document is available. To be considered for this requirement, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM - https://www.sam.gov). Any vendor interested in this requirement must have a letter from Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. providing authorization to perform maintenance and repairs on the Siemens Aera MRI system.
