M/V Muddy Waters Maintenance
W912EE--This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
Solicitation Number W912EE25QA012 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) with the intent to issue one Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is being issued under a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business size standard of $12,500,000.00. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The M/V Muddy Water of the Vicksburg District requires the R&R of one (1) CAT C7 marine 460 horsepower diesel engine. The project includes R&R of the long block, rebuilding of a ZF 286A type gear boxes (2) port and starboard, block heaters, clean and hotwash both fuel tanks, pull, align, straighten, and laser align both propeller shafts, and replace anodes on the vessel and trim tabs, and all other required R&R tasks associated, i.e., seals and gaskets IAW scope of work.
All Offerors shall submit a quote with content as specified herein. Quotes submitted without the specified content may be determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration.
Offers are encouraged to review all clauses that are incorporated into this solicitation.

The government intends to make one award for one firm fixed price contract. Offers for less than the required delivery will not be accepted. The government intends to award without discussions while reserving the right to hold discussions if determined advantageous to the government. Offerors are encouraged to provide their best proposed pricing in their initial offer.
