Project Description: Sealed bids will be accepted online via PennBid™ (www.PennBid.net) until 10:00 A.M. local time, Monday July 14, 2025 at which time the bids shall be opened online via PennBid™ for the:

The work is generally described as installing approximately 1,000 linear feet of gravity sewer main through an existing easement.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled at the Township property situated across from 494 Stover Road, Harleysville, PA 19438, at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory. However, the work is located on private residential properties, and walking through these properties without permission is considered trespassing. Attendance at the pre-bid conference will give interested bidders the opportunity to fully access the project area.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien.
The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442).
