Notice of Intent to Sole Source Stratasys 3D Printer Maintenance

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Stratasys, Inc., Eden Prairie, NM, on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) Stratasys 3D Printer Maintenance

COMFRC requires recertification and annual maintenance service agreement on seven (7) Stratasys 3D printers Model numbers Origin One, F370, F770, 450 (Qty 2), and 900MC (Qty 2), to include calibration services and repairs to bring the equipment to fully operational condition. This requirement is for a base year plus three (3) option years.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
