Intent to Sole Source 36C24225Q0801. This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, Regional Procurement Office - East, on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768, intends to award a firm-fixed-price FSS-ORDER to Arjo, Inc., 2349 W Lake St., Addison, IL 60101 for Patient Overhead Lifts, FSS Contract V797D-50430, in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6.
The Northport VAMC requires the purchase and installation of ninety-eight (98) ARJO Maxi Sky 2 4 functions, non IFC ceiling lift systems with the self-charging ECS systems, ninety-six (96) ARJO Maxi Sky 2 - 2pt (loop) standard spreader bar with quick release, one complete Maxi Sky 1000 ceiling lift system 4 functions, non IFC ceiling lift system with the self-charging ECS system, one Arjo MaxiSky 1000 4 pt (loop) spreader bar, ninety-eight (98) MaxiSky 2 Scales, and one (1) MaxiSky 1000 bariatric scale.

This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This Special Notice is being issued for information purposes only. The formal Justification & Approval for this action shall be posted on this site in accordance with FAR Part 6.305(a) within 14 days after final award.
