Description:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate succeeding leases for continued use of tower and shelter space supporting National Weather Radio (NWR) operations at the following sites:

Denison, IA – Lease No. 15EKW0047C

Yakima, WA – Lease No. 17WSW0224C
NOAA has determined that negotiating succeeding leases in these locations is necessary to maintain uninterrupted NWR broadcast service. Site-specific market research indicates that relocation is not cost-effective or operationally feasible. This action will be conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as only one responsible source can meet the Government’s requirements at each location.
