Description:

The work is for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of Phase 4B at the Archuleta County Landfill, generally described as follows:

Phase 4B Cell construction consisting of:

Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil from areas to be disturbed.
Excavation and grading of landfill cells, berms, and access roads.
Installation of approximately 4 acres of scarified and recompacted in-situ clay, geo-composite
Drainage layer, and 1-foot of protective soils.
Construction of perimeter roads and ditches.

The bid opening will be held at the Archuleta County Administration Office, 398 Lewis Street, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, at which time the Online Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Qualifications:

Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with the State of Colorado.

Archuleta County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner.

Pre-Bid Meeting: March 19th, 2025, 10a.m. MST
County Administration Office, 398 Lewis Street, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 followed by a site visit to the Archuleta County Landfill, 9179 CR 500, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference.
