Description

This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR subpart FAR 19.1406 Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Marine Corp Training and Education Command (TECOM) Marine Corp Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC). This requirement encompasses a six-day, in-person teacher training course for seventy (70) MCJROTC instructors serving as JROTC educators in host schools, as well as a virtual Instructor Recertification Course for ninety (90) experienced instructors. The training will provide foundational instruction in essential teaching skills, including effective lesson planning, instructional rubrics, classroom management, and inclusive teaching methodologies. Additionally, the curriculum will cover education law and best practices for meeting the legal requirements outlined in student Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Further specialized modules will be offered on MCJROTC Cadet Record Manager, Turning Point Technology, and professional standards for instructor-student relationships. XCORP Solutions, Inc. is required to be utilized. The anticipated NAICS Code is 611710 – Educational Support Services.

The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) – Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Marine Corps Base, Quantico VA intends to award a sole source contract to XCORP Solutions, Inc, 1010 Corporate Drive Suite #310 Stafford, VA 22554, in accordance with FAR 19.1406 Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
