SCOPE OF WORK

The contracted vendor shall supply all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to furnish and install furniture at the project site located at the address below. The quote must include all products, services, and associated fees (e.g., installation services, freight, and applicable taxes).

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

1) All products must be brand new; Refurbished products are not acceptable.

2) Quotes must be valid for a minimum of 90 days.

3) Partial bids not accepted.

4) Pricing must be broken down by:

- Furniture Subtotal

- Services Subtotal (Design, Freight, Install)

- Applicable Sales Tax (Reference Rate: 4.712%)

5) Products must have the original manufacturers warranty; Warranty information shall be provided with the bid.

6) Honolulu Community College (Honolulu CC) reserves the right to determine the suitability and equivalency of the furniture offered. For items requesting equivalency consideration, please submit your proposal by March 30, 2026 and explain how your proposed equivalent item meets each specification identified on the RFQ. We will provide a determination by April 1, 2026. We reserve the right to determine equivalency.

7) Please attach the State of Hawaii Certificate of Vendor Compliance confirming the Contractor has compliant status. Please note that a contract award will not be made unless vendor compliant status can be confirmed. Under Hawaii law (103D-310(c), HRS), vendors must provide proof of compliance in order to receive a contract worth $2,500 or more with state and county government entities in Hawaii.
