StudyConnecting Communities to LA River Trail

The Study will be an essential milestone in achieving the future connectivity of over 50 miles of trail by addressing the State's role and creating a comprehensive plan. It will support District 7¿s CAT Plan (2022) and contribute to the goals of the State Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan ¿ Toward an Active California (2017). The primary outcomes of the Study include:
1.        A report outlining strategies to address gaps and barriers within the LA River Trail.
2.        A public engagement summary detailing internal, external, and community partner involvement.
3.        A web map to inform the public of the Study's focus areas and serve as a geodatabase for location-based needs.
4.        Identification of critical funding opportunities and relevant competitive factors for each.
