Forestry and Parks
.1 Disposal of current warming shelter and installation of new warming shelter in a location that will be more user-friendly. Warming shelter shall have simple design including a generator electrical hook up and interior wood burning fire place. Detailed design drawings for a similar warming shelter building will be provided for reference in pdf format and will require custom modifications to fit specific project requirements.
.2 Upgrade six campsites to meet modern needs for larger camping units and construct up to twelve (12) new campsites.
.3 Change the direction of the traffic flow in the campground to improve vehicular circulation and public safety.
.4 Reconstruct the group-use fire pit, including a new seating structure and a fire pit to support overall user safety.
.5 Replace the existing vault toilet as per Crown Land Infrastructure Standard Development Guidelines (CLISDG), current edition. Strategically located on site plans to allow easy pump-out access and designed with adequately sized tanks to minimize maintenance frequency.
.6 Establish a hand boat launch per CLISDG, current edit.
.7 Installation of fish station and 20-foot dock per CLISDG, current edit.
.8 Test current hand pump on site for water quality and functionality.
.9 Upgrade signage using Alberta Parks standard sign catalogue.
.10 Increase accessibility wherever reasonably possible.
