Whitcomb Community Park - Phase 1

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the “City”), on behalf of the Department of Public Works (“DPW”) seeks bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Whitcomb Community Park Improvements – Phase I project (the “Project”). The Project will entail sitework, utilities, paving, stormwater management, and park improvements (the “Work”). The Work will include demolition, grading, drainage, landscaping, and installation of site amenities. Specific details regarding the nature and prosecution of the Work are provided below in the Statement of Work.

The City envisions Whitcomb Community Park as a neighborhood park amenity that will provide new basketball courts, a walking trail, and green infrastructure improvements. The community surrounding the Project has been engaged in the design of the Park for the past three years and they are excited to see these improvements finally come to life. This Project is the first phase in a larger master plan vision that the City pursues at this site over the coming years.
