.1 Adherence to all federal and provincial building codes, including Barrier‐ Free Guidelines.
.2 Protection of the natural environment while limiting the removal of any existing trees and vegetation..
.3 Provide greater access/accessibility while improving visitor experiences.
.4 Aesthetic compatibility with other facilities within Alberta Parks or Gregoire Lake Provincial Park.
.5 Robust low‐maintenance asset with long service lifespans.
.6 Materials shall be easily procured during construction and throughout the assets lifespan while being easily maintainable and repairable.
.7 Utilities and building servicing will be compatible with the natural environment and suitable for the remote locations and servicing limitation of Alberta Parks’ front country sites.
