The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking information from the market for comprehensive commercial real estate data, analytics, and technology software solutions. The solution should provide daily market insights to its users as part of the solution. **The City is not seeking a commercial appraisal or computer-assisted mass appraisal system. **
This is a request for information only. Depending on responses received a formal solicitation may be posted in the future.
Background
The office of real estate requests income and expense information from our property owners annually, with about a 60% compliance rate. Of those 60% there are many instances in which the data is inaccurate. If there is a mortgage on the property, the income and expense information for that property must be reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The city is seeking a solution that gathers data, is correlated, and reported to licensed users through the vendor’s website.
