Summary
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife is soliciting proposals for a Bid Level Design Package for Lake Erie Wildlife Research Vessel.
The project objective is to secure a qualified vendor to provide the services to include naval architectural and marine engineering support for development of a concept design package for a 50-60' fisheries research vessel to replace the R/V Grandon. The plans will be optimized to meet the Division's specific research and operational needs, with a focus on stability, maneuverability, fuel efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness Offeror must commit to a mandatory site visit to be scheduled (February 2025) with the awarded Contractor only for the design crew to visit the R/V Grandon (drydocked in Sandusky, OH) to further understand the mission critical needs prior to design work. Offeror must complete the concept design package by June 30, 2025. |
