Solicitation Summary

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide part-time (20 hours/week) psychiatric care for the adults with intellectual disabilities who reside at the Potomac Center and Secure Evaluation and Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) facilities in Hagerstown, Maryland . The Potomac Center and SETT are residential care facilities for intellectually disabled individuals who may have co-existing mental disorders. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is charged with the duty of evaluating, diagnosing, admitting, treating patients, and making discharge and aftercare plans for the patients admitted to the Potomac Center/SETT facilities. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner supports the mission of the organization through active participation in clinical efforts to provide treatment in a recovery-oriented environment. The contract term shall be 6 months (26 weeks); services are to initiate 12/11/24.
