This solicitation is being made pursuant to the M/WBE Small Purchase Method, Section 3-08 (c)(1)(iv) of the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, this procurement is exclusively for the City Certified Minority and Woman Owned Business (M/WBEs). Contracts awarded under this method may not exceed $1,500,000, inclusive of any and all change orders, overruns, amendments, renewals and extensions.
The objective is to ensure that all AEDs remain in a constant state of readiness, meet all NYS and NYC regulatory requirements, and are properly maintained, documented, and supported. Additionally, to provide NYC Aging staff and contracted service providers with AED/CPR Certification and, as requested and less frequent, Basic First Aid training.
