Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, representatives of the City of Woodbury will publicly view Bids at 8301 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury, MN 55125. There will also be an online Bid opening meeting. | Description: | In general, work consists of the following: The City of Woodbury is requesting bids for a full turnkey rooftop solar PV system at its Fleet Services Building, designed to seamlessly integrate with the current generator, supports future upgrades, and enables easy connection to a future Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). This phase includes the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the system to ensure seamless integration with current infrastructure and future upgrades. A preliminary site plan and single-line diagram serve as a reference, though bidders may propose alternative designs that meet project requirements. The initial design specifies a 192 kW DC system, with potential adjustments after contract award based on past energy usage. | |

The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Woodbury shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner. |
