PROJECT TITLE: CHESTERTON INTERCEPTOR REHABILITATION, CHESTERTON, PORTER COUNTY, INDIANAPROJECT LOCATION: CHESTERTON, PORTER COUNTY, INDIANATHE PROJECT AIMS TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE 48-INCH RCP SEWER INTERCEPTOR ALONG 8TH STREET VIA SEGMENTED SLIP LINING THE PIPE. INSERTION PITS WILL BE USED, AND SEGMENTS OF THE PIPES WILL BE LOWERED DOWN INTO THE PIT AND PUSHED INTO THE SEWER VIA A HYDRAULIC PRESS. THE PIPE WILL SPAN FROM 8TH STREET AND MORGAN AVENUE TO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ON LEAGUE LANE APPROXIMATELY 3,300 FEET LONG IN CHESTERTON INDIANA.
