Notice is hereby given that the City of Starkville, Mississippi will receive sealed bids for the construction of improvements planned as part of the City’s MONTGOMERY ST & LAMPKIN ST INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT REBID- PROJECT NO. 24017. Bids are due at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 110 West Main Street, Starkville, Mississippi 39759, or can be submitted electronically to

A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable without condition to the City of Starkville, Mississippi or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. All contractors responding to this advertisement for bids must comply with all applicable requirements of Chapters 3 and 5 of Title 31 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended.

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days without the written consent of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City.
