General Description
The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids for the purchase of Two (2) Eleven-Foot
SA Dump Boxes with V-Box Upfit. This upfit must meet bid specifications to align with
chassis bid specifications. Chassis Bid Specifications attached (Attachment A). Awarded
bidder must attend preconstruction meeting with awarded chassis bidder and the Public
Service Director.

Evaluation of Bids
The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value for the
municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products to which the City wishes
to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no
reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the
City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bid
selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.
Selection of Bids
It is anticipated that this agreement will be considered by City Council on October 6, 2026.
The "Total Amount Proposed" cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bid
opening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.
Scope of Work
The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids for the purchase of Two Eleven-Foot SA
Dump Boxes with V-Box Upfit. This upfit must meet bid specifications to align with chassis
bid specifications. Chassis Bid Specifications attached (Attachment A). Awarded bidder
must attend preconstruction meeting with awarded chassis bidder and the Public Service
Director.
Bid Specifications:
Install Crysteel 11' Stainless Steel Select Dump body including the following:
* Body: 11' L 84" I.D. 96" O.D.
* Front style: straight, height: 42", material 7 ga. 201 stainless steel
* Standard 1/2 cab shield, 10 ga. 201 stainless steel continuously welded to dump
body
* Side style: single panel with rub rail, pressed horizontal
* Side Height: 30" front/rear, constructed of 7ga. 201 stainless steel
* Dirt shedding top rails, pillars, and tailgate
* Sideboard pockets
* Rear style: straight, height: 36", material: 7 ga. 201 stainless steel
* 6 panel double acting tailgate, 2.5" thick, air release
* Flip-top covered safety toggle switch mounted to center console for tailgate
operation
* Offset hinges are 1-1/2" flame cut steel
* Upper hinge pin is 1-1/2", lower pin is 1-1/4"

shall utilize a 3/8" x 1-1/2" x 18-3/4" cross bar welded on both the top and
bottom to every other chain link making an overall width of 22-1/4"

providing a Longitudinal brace and hinge point for the top screens.

Each section shall be secured to the top beam with two (2) non-freeze 5/8"

Monroe MS4512 underbody scraper including the following:
* Scraper to be mounted to accommodate the installation of a Monroe 7' mid-
mount Jr wing to be added in the future if wanted
* Moldboard is 12' long, 1" thick and 20" high
* Moldboard is grade 50 Hi Tensile steel with a pressed in off set (not heat treated)
* The reverse table is 1" solid circle with infinite plowing positions available to
45-degrees
* Reversing is accomplished with two 4" double acting cylinders
* A crossover relief valve shall be furnished
* The cylinder rods are 2" in diameter and have Socatri rods
* All scraper cylinders have Poly Pak seals
* The cylinders are mounted with 2" pivot pins
* The circle rotates around a 5" center pin and is attached with three 3/4" mounting
bolts and has a grease zerk fitting, a welded in hardened bushing to prevent hole
elongation is included, pin is piloted into the hanger boards
* The hanger brackets are one-piece solid 3/4" plate
* The hanger board is 1/2" formed plate reinforced by 1/2" x 7-1/2" flat plate
* The hinge line is a solid shaft 96" in length and has 3 anchor points,
* Hinge shaft must have spiral grooves to allow for improved grease penetration,
no exceptions
* Two outer hinges are 3-1/4" OD by 6" long, center hinge is 3-1/4" OD by 103/4"
long with a .344 wall thickness mechanical tubing
* Moldboard actuation is accomplished by two 3-1/2" double acting cylinders with
2" Socatri rods
* The canister cylinder assemble is retained by a 4-bolt flange assemble
* Trunnion arms have bolt on caps
* Cushioning of the moldboard is with two H.D. shock assemblies with two
internally mounted steel springs
* Hydraulic stainless-steel tubing is externally mounted for ease of maintenance
* All hydraulic hose and pipe are a minimum of 3/8" ID
* Install J-50 relief valve on down circuit
* Scraper moldboard to be shot blasted and powder coated black
* 15-point grease extensions for all scraper pivot points
* Serrated step on the streetside end of the scraper moldboard

* Trim both front upper corners of the scraper moldboard at a 45-degree angle
* Paint both ends of the scraper moldboard orange
* Three (3) PB-748H Kennametal carbide insert cutting edges: 48" x 5" x 7/8"
* One (1) KCWB-0307-A Kennametal 12" carbide curb guard installed on the right-
hand side of the scraper moldboard
Fabricate and install custom rear hitch plate including the following:
* 3/4" rear hitch plate material, reinforced with 1/2" flat stock on sides
* 6" heavy channel ICC rear bumper mounted on bottom of hitch plate
* BH152516 15-ton combination hitch - 2-5/16" ball, installed 22" from ground to -
valley of hitch, includes additional mounting holes above and below
* Two (2) 3/4" D-rings
* Supply and install tow hooks at rear, one on each side of the rear hitch plate
* Install 7-way RV style trailer plug, wire to factory provided trailer wiring and
upfitter provided brake controller
* Drill holes in rear hitch plate for use with license plate installation
* Reinstall factory taillights above rear hitch plate
Install Monroe Model 00166450 combination fuel/hydraulic/valve enclosure tank:
* Mounted behind chassis cab, between cab and dump body
* 100-gallon fuel capacity, 35-gallon hydraulic oil capacity
* 7-gauge 201 stainless steel construction
* Valve enclosure mounted on the left side of the tank with a removeable lid that
includes a weather-tight seal. A side of frame mounted valve enclosure is not
acceptable.
* Tank includes a 24" Low oil sensor in the hydraulic tank, wired to indicator light
on dash
* Sight/temp gauge on end of the tank
* 3" supply port and case drain port located in the bottom of the hydraulic tank
* Top of the tank Zinga return line filter
* Fuel tank has a drop tube for fuel supply and is vented
* Ball valve shut offs included on case drain and supply port of the hydraulic tank
* Ball valve shut offs included on the fuel supply and return lines
* The tank has its own cradle bolted to the frame of the truck, and does not utilize
straps
* Hydraulic tank to be filled with AW32 hydraulic oil
* Stainless steel to remain unpainted
* Install stainless steel J-hook for use with fuel nozzle
* Install 3-step egress for driver's side cab entry, including a catwalk from behind
the streetside front fender to the rear of the behind cab stainless steel
combination reservoir tank, steps, catwalk, and all related mounting bracketry to
be painted black in color

Central Hydraulic System including the following:
* Rexroth A10V085, 85CC front mount, load sense piston pump
* Front pump mounting bracket
* 12-volt low oil shutdown block with override switch mounted to the center console
* Spicer drive line with companion flange for easy removal of driveline

operated control levers, including enough space to add two additional levers if
wanted in the future. Top plate will also have additional space available for
installation of upfitter supplied switches
* Raised pedestal with mounting plate installed at the right-hand front of the
console for use with mounting spreader controller display
* Related wiring/busbars/relays/electrical items/air lines for use with console
mounted items to be installed and routed neatly and cleanly to the interior of the
center console. A reference diagram will also be included.
* Console assembly and pedestal to be prepped and painted black in color prior to
installation
Apsco single axis air operated controls from left to right including the following:
* Scraper up/down

* Scraper swing
* Hoist (includes center detent)
* Control levers to be installed at approximately a 30-degree angle to the center
console.
No control lever(s) for front plow swing or wing up/down are included

Install Dickey-john Control Point model CP Basic sander controller including the
following:
* Control console with remote witch panel
* Control console back lit dot matrix screen and mounting brackets
* Remote switch panel includes granular and liquid control switches and blast
button for use with Granular and Liquid drivers
* System is capable of operating granular, pre-wet and anti-icing functions
* Controller is capable of displaying and logging ambient and ground temperature

* Controller includes a serial port for transfer of data logged information
* All necessary wiring harnesses for ground speed input, feedback sensor input,

* System to be set up for closed loop - customer intends to operate in manual

custom center console

Custom Lighting & Electrical including the following:
* Two (2) SoundOff amber/green LED 1x4 strobe lights mounted forward facing
to the chassis grill
* Truck-Lite plow lights installed on the chassis hood using custom aluminum
mounting brackets, 70" from ground to bottom of plow lights
* One (1) SoundOff Pinnacle LED amber/green mini light bar mounted centered to
the cab shield using a custom stainless steel mounting bracket including a
stainless steel brush guard, mounted high enough for 360-degree viewing
