General Notice
The Charter Township of Chesterfield (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following
Project:
BRANDENBURG PARK
CH26002
Chesterfield Township, Michigan
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Chesterfield Township Hall located at 47275
Sugarbush Road, Chesterfield, Michigan, MI 48047 until Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 10:00 am local
time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Construction of pickleball courts and sidewalk connections around existing playscapes with
landscaping improvements.
The approximate quantities of the major items of Work are:
1086 Syd Aggregate Base, 6 inch
506 Syd _Aggregate Base, 8 inch, Limestone
4352 Sft _Reinforced Court Pavement
4352 Sft _Liquid Acrylic Surface
7824 Sft Sidewalk, Conc, 4 inch

Bid Security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders

Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the actual date of opening thereof. This time
period may be extended by mutual agreement of the OWNER and any Bidder or Bidders.
The Township reserves the right to accept any or all alternative Bids and award the contract to other than
the lowest bidder, to waive any irregularities or informalities or both; to reject any or all Bids; and in
general to make the award of the Contract in any manner deemed by the Township, in its sole discretion,
to be in the best interest of the Charter Township of Chesterfield.
