Summary Details

This Request for Information is being issued in order to collect information regarding the Medium Duty market. This information will be assessed to inform the feasibility of a Medium Duty project, as well as to inform decisions regarding fuel type, and overall fleet composition strategy. For the purposes of this RFI a Medium Duty bus is an accessible transit bus no longer than 10.7 m (35 ft.) and having the capability of carrying a minimum of 23 passengers (seated and standing) and is capable of being configured to meet the CSA D435-16 Accessible Transit Buses standard. The bus should also have provisions for standee passengers and a stop request system.
