Chavez High School Theater Stage Update Project- IFB 26-09

The Project consists of: The modernization of the Cesar Chavez High School auditorium includes the removal and replacement of the stage rigging system with required structural supports, removal and replacement of the stage floor, removal and replacement of the theatrical drapery and lighting systems, partial infill of the existing orchestra pit, removal of the stage wheelchair lift and replacement with a new stair and inclined wheelchair lift, new electrical systems, new AV work, new carpet in the Audience Chamber, and minor toilet room partition work.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., April 17, 2026, at the District Facilities Office, 1944 El Pinal Drive, Stockton, California 95205 at or after which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code.
