The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for supplying and
delivering six (6), sixty (60) foot steel beams and associated diaphragms and hardware to a project
site in Shippen Township, Cameron County. The scope of the project includes supplying and
delivering the beams to the prepared project site. Bids will be opened electronically in the PGC
Division of Contracts and Procurement, 2001 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9797, on
Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
When bidding, amount bid should be in dollars and cents-----no fractions of a cent will be
accepted.
Questions concerning project specifications and requirements should be directed to Angela
Lindgren, PGC Engineering Division at 717-787-4250, ext. 73620. Any questions concerning
completion of the electronic bid should be directed to PGC-Contracts and Procurement Division
at 717-787-6594.
Bidders should visit the site to ascertain the pertinent conditions such as access, site contours,
proximity of utilities, and vegetation in the work area. Contact Land Management Group
Supervisor Mr. Jason Wagner, at 814-404-2220 for access to the site. Site is on a gravel, gated
PGC access road. GPS coordinates are: 41.440323, -78.356188. Please obtain prior permission
from Mr. Wagner at the phone number listed above to schedule a site visit and inquire about site
conditions. If Mr. Wagner is unavailable, please contact Ms. Lindgren at the number listed above.
Attached to the electronic project listing are Terms and Conditions of Project, Conditions for
Construction Contracts. One drawing titled “Beam Details and Dimensions” is also attached.
These enclosures are part of the bid. All bids must be submitted electronically using the SRM
system. Bids must be received by 2:00PM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM. A bid
guarantee or bond is not required.
The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive technical defects in
bids, and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth.
Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive
bidder. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the
successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be
authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order.
All vendors who conduct business with the Pennsylvania Game Commission must have a Vendor
Number assigned to them to receive payment from the Commonwealth. Effective immediately,
vendors may access the website www.pasupplierportal.state.pa.us or phone 877-435-7363 or 717-
346-2676 or email RA-PSCSRMPORTAL@pa.gov for assistance in registering as a new vendor
or, if you are an existing vendor, to change a main or remit to address. This is a Department of
