Description
Introduction. Richard L. Roudebush operates an electric 750 GPM, 75 HP fire pump for the facility fire protection system. Per NFPA 25 8.3 monthly testing is required to occur for ten minutes. The facility fire pump has failed the inspection due to excessive leaking from the packing glands. Pump is exceeding manufacture recommendations of 45-60 drips per minute.
Requirements. The contractor shall accomplish the following:

Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to replace and test packing glands to assure NFPA 25 8.3.2.9 (1) (c) compliance.
Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to inspect shaft bearing and provide recommendation for replacement.
Upon completion of work, contractor shall complete full monthly run test based on NFPA 25 8.3 recommendations.

Location is 1481 West 10th St. Indianapolis, IN 46202.
