23-2005-A04-S08 EMCS Projects

The City’s Business and Enterprise Architecture (BEA) team requires one (1) Consultant to provide a full-time Senior Change Management Consultant (SCMC) to assist with several projects within Emergency Management & Community Safety.

The Emergency Management & Community Services (EM&CS) business unit has several strategic projects underway and upcoming that require change management oversight and support. These include items such as;
•        A Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system replacement, which is a core system used by Calgary 9-1-1;
•        Police call evaluation & dispatch system
•        Peace Officer alignment program
•        Asset management
•        Centralized work intake

A SCMC will be a crucial addition to these complex initiatives.

A BEA team member will oversee the SCMC’s role from start to close of the engagement which will last two (2) years in duration.

The desire is for the SCMC to work embedded full time (37.5hr work week) within EMCS, however a hybrid schedule is available to allow the consultant to work remotely.

The successful candidate is required to successfully pass an enhanced security screening administered by Calgary Police Service (CPS) before starting work.
