Hwy 80 Water Extension Phase 2 (PE23218)

Sealed bids for construction of Highway 80 Water Extension Phase 2 will be received until November 20th, 2025, 11:00 AM at the City of Brooklet City Hall at 104 Church Street, Brooklet GA at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: The City of Brooklet Highway 80 Water Extension project includes, but not limited to, installation of approximately 5,150 LF of 12¿ C-900 PVC watermain on Highway 80 from Joiner Road to Cromley Road. Watermain installation methods will include open cut and directional bore installation. The project will also consist of pavement replacement, sediment control, traffic control, and grassing. Time allotted for completion of work is ninety (90) calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans & specifications. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a ¿Utility Contractor¿. This project is subject to BABAA. Funding is to be provided by Brooklet & the SEID grant.
