Project Description: Bids will be received online by the Community College of Philadelphia via PennBid until 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, June 5, 2026, for the following: "Snow Removal & Landscaping Services
The Community College of Philadelphia (the "College") is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to provide snow removal, ice remediation services and Landscaping services for the Main Campus and two off-site campuses. Maintaining safe and accessible campuses during weather-related incidents is critical; therefore, the selected contractor must demonstrate the capacity for prompt response times and deliver professional, reliable service consistent with the College’s expectations for public safety.
Separation of Scopes: The College intends to bid these services in three distinct categories:
1. Sidewalk/Pedestrian Surfaces: Sidewalks, entrances, ramps, and emergency exits.
2. Vehicular Surfaces: Parking lots and loading docks.
3. Landscaping: Technically proficient landscaping partner to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance
The College reserves the right to award these categories separately or in combination to one or more vendors, based on the best interest of the College. Bidders are notified that the "Parking Lot Only" scope may or may not be awarded to the company that bids on the sidewalk services and landscaping services
Award Flexibility and Segregation of Scope
Bidders are advised that the Parking Lot scope is considered a separate service category from Sidewalk/Pedestrian snow removal services.
• The College may, at its sole discretion, award the Parking Lot scope to a different vendor than the Sidewalk scope.
• Bidders may submit a proposal for one or all categories.
• If a bidder provides a "Bundle Discount" for winning both scopes, this must be clearly labeled as an "Alternate" on the Bid Form and will not be the primary basis for the initial evaluation.
