Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Department of Health Office of Preparedness and Response is the Maryland awardee of the Fiscal Year
2024-2028 Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreement
from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The mission of the HPP program is to prepare the nation’s healthcare system to save lives during emergencies and disasters. OP&R supports the implementation of the HPP mission in Maryland by providing training, funding, and technical assistance to healthcare system partners to enhance emergency preparedness and response readiness. To further this mission, regional healthcare preparedness coalitions (HCCs) were created to conduct collaborative planning activities. The State is issuing this Application for the purposes of providing fiduciary services to Maryland HCCs as well as support to facilitate and document HPP-funded preparedness activities and purchases.
