The Meriwether County Board of Commissioners invites sealed bids for the 2025 LMIG Resurfacing Project until 3:00 PM on September 5, 2025, at the Meriwether County Board of Commissioner’s Office, 17234 Roosevelt Highway, Building B, Greenville, GA. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.
The project includes resurfacing approximately 5.63 miles of roadway: Stovall Road (3.85 miles) and Melvin Harris Road (1.78 miles). Work includes asphalt patching, leveling, double surface treatment as the final surface, striping, and shoulder building. All work must be completed within 120 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 AM on August 18, 2025, at the Commissioner’s Office. Bidders must be licensed in Georgia, fully insured, and provide a 5% Bid Bond, along with 100% Performance and Payment Bonds from a licensed surety. Required insurance includes general and auto liability, workers’ compensation, and employee dishonesty coverage.
