The United States Army Health Care Activity (USAHCA), Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) is seeking industry information and comments from sources with capabilities to provide qualified and certified Athletic Trainers (ATs) who will be assigned specifically to designated units at the Brigade/Area Support Team (BDE/AST), Battalion (BN), or Company (CO) level. AT services may be provided in the following locations: fitness centers/gyms, BDE/AST/BN/CO or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, drop zones, and at the Soldier Performance Readiness Center (SPRC). Work includes providing forward Musculoskeletal (MSK) care, early medical intervention, Injury Risk Mitigation (IRM) and performance optimization services. Any medical treatment provided by the AT is subject to the supervision of a privileged government healthcare provider with primary oversight by a physician (MD/DO).
