Project Description: The City is seeking a qualified contractor to perform park strip landscaping improvements on Redwood Road (SR-68) between 10400 S – 9400 S and 11400 S – 10400 S, and also on 11400 S between 3600 W – Redwood Road and Redwood Road – 600 West. The work generally includes the excavation of existing park strips, relocation of existing irrigation controller to new location, installation and connection of new electric meter and strongbox enclosure for relocated irrigation controller, relocating and replacing existing valve to new location, replacing existing irrigation valves for drip irrigation, install new irrigation system to park strip reconfiguration of existing irrigation system laterals to accommodate new drip irrigation for park strips, installation of master valves and control wiring on existing irrigation systems, installation of plantings, installation of weed fabric and rock mulch. All Labor, Supplies, Tools, Equipment, Parts, Permits, Rentals, Fuels, Utilities, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Mobilization and all other Costs including Overhead and Profit are to be included in bid line items.
The work must be substantially complete by June 15, 2025.
All work, excluding planting, should be substantially complete by November 4th, 2025.
If CONTRACTOR is unable to make planting window, then CONTRACTOR receives permission to return to location and plant between May 15th, 2026 – August 30th, 2026.
The City anticipates that a Notice to Proceed will be given on the following date, but reserves the right to change such date:
