Description: The Town of Fuquay-Varina is soliciting bid proposals for the Banks Road Park Baseball Field project. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, grading, installation of a new baseball field, and any other necessary components. Comprehensive project requirements are detailed in the plans and specifications provided. Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the project on the Town of Fuquay-Varina website at https://www.fuquay-varina.org/ (click on "Bids" and select the project name). Bids may be submitted via email to csimonson@fuquay-varina.org, or hand or mail delivered to the attention of Cody Simonson, PE, Staff Engineer, at the Fuquay-Varina Town Hall, 134 N. Main St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. For email submissions, include a clear subject line indicating the bid for 24-06 Banks Road Park Baseball Field. For hand or mail delivered submissions, ensure that the bid is clearly marked with the project title. In all cases, include the Bidder’s name, address, North Carolina contractor license number, and the name and phone number of a contact person. Bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2025. This is an informal project, so bids are not required to be sealed and may be submitted in any form specified by the local government. All submitted bids will be reviewed by the Town of Fuquay-Varina. All interpretations related to this Request for Bids (RFB) must be submitted in writing to Cody Simonson, at csimonson@fuquay-varina.org by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Responses to requests for interpretation will be issued as an addendum. The final addendum will be posted to the Town website by 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The Town of Fuquay-Varina reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason or no reason and to accept the bid most favorable to the Town.
