MWMSS VMI - Sources Sought Only

The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, on the behalf of Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (JMTC) located in Rock Island, IL., is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to provide for the delivery for the MWMSS (Metal Working Machine Shop Set) VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) for 600-800 parts to include fasteners, hydraulic, and pneumatic items. Vendor Managed Inventory is defined as managing contract account in accordance with generally accepted VMI practices, which optimize supply chain performance. This includes, but is not limited to providing, stocking and maintaining inventory levels.

For planning purposes only, the Government anticipates a five-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. The minimum quantity is one unit with an estimated maximum quantity of one hundred and twenty units. One (1) unit will consist of all of the items that are listed on the Parts List that will be provided during the Solicitation.

Respondents should demonstrate that they possess the experience and technical capability to support this requirement. Respondents shall provide a summary of their company’s capability statement, at least three (3) successful projects where you have

provided completed simuliar work, CAGE Code and whether their company is large or small business. All responses under this sources sought notice must be emailed to Heather Petersen at heather.j.petersen.civ@army.mil.

This market survey is for planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a Request for Quote/Solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. All information submitted will be held as contractor proprietary data.
