Description
INTRODUCTION:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20 anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract to Project Number 668-22-104 Renovate SPS and Lab Space Building 1 at VA Medical Center Mann-Grandstaff, 4815 N Assembly Street, Spokane, WA 99205.
DESCRIPTION:
The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor and materials for the renovation of 1200 square feet and correct deficiencies and incomplete work resulting from a Minor project in the Sterile Processing Service department located in Building 1E, 2nd floor (west wing of the main hospital). Contractor is required to address architectural and life safety concerns, mechanical/HVAC, electrical power distribution, plumbing omissions and water distribution inefficiencies, data and other building system deficiencies which are preventing full functional capacity of the SPS.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS Code is 238220 with a size standard of $19 Million. The solicitation is expected to be issued in Fiscal Year 2025. The period of performance is approximately 180-Calendar Days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to kaycee.benson@va.gov by July 25, 2024, at 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Telephone calls will not be accepted.
