Description:

WHO: James City County is seeking Class A or B Contractors for a number of residential construction and grant funded rehabilitation projects; to be bid out on an as-needed basis.

WHAT: The following job types may be available: New Residential Construction, Housing Rehabilitation, Site Clean-up including Trash and Debris Removal, Infrastructure Improvements, Energy Efficiency Retrofits, Lead Based Paint Safe Work Practices/Remediation, and Asbestos Remediation. Subcontracts may be available in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Roofing, Siding and Termite/Moisture remediation.

WHEN: The first round of applications is due October 16, 2023. Vendors must submit prequalification applications by this date to be considered for the first round of bids slated to go out in early 2024. Vendors may submit applications after this date to be considered for prequalified status through October 15, 2025. However, there is a 30-day period between the date of prequalification and the date vendors are eligible to bid on projects.
