Project Description: This project will consist of a light weight chip seal on Pony Express Parkway, Tyson Parkway, 4000 North, and 16000 West. Light weight chips may be stored at a location provided by Eagle Mountain City. Contractor is responsible for supplying light weight chips and for the installation of the chip seal, fog seal, restriping traffic paint, and traffic control. This work shall be performed in the month of June with a completion date of Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
ATTENTION:
The following documents will be required with bidding documents and/or with a contract award.
** Bid Bond for 5% of the total project required with the bidding documents**
Insurance verification with bid, Certificate of Insurance at contract signing
** 100% Performance Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing **
** 100% Payment Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing **
Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered.
OPENING OF BIDS:
Bids will be opened on or around the bid closing. Results will be posted after bids have been evaluated. Vendors who submit a bid will be notified of the results via email. The email will include a spreadsheet of all vendors, and the amounts of the bids submitted for the project. Please include the name and email address of your contact person in the cover letter so we can send the notification of bid results. Bids will also be posted on Eaglemountaincity.com/purchasing. Once a vendor is chosen for the awarded contract all vendors will be notified of the vendor who will be awarded the contract. The chosen vendor will submit the remaining required insurance, bonds, and other required documentation with a signed contract.
