Outside Counsel Services

Description of goods to services to be bid:

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) invites proposals from attorneys and law firms interested in providing outside legal services related to two new categories of legal issues -- Clean Energy Labor Law and Federal Energy Law. These new categories supplement and do not replace the categories under which proposals were solicited and awarded in the prior issuance of this RFP 4815.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

(a) ?Negotiating, preparing, reviewing, and delivering any documents related to bilateral or multilateral agreements between NYSERDA and third parties.
? (b)? Rendering an objective opinion with respect to matters of law that arise in the administration of NYSERDA’s programs.
?(c) Preparing, reviewing, or advising NYSERDA with regard to resolutions, notices, and other documents or procedures required in connection with State and local laws and procedures.
(d)? Drafting, analyzing, advising, or commenting on federal and state legislation, regulations and rules, NYSERDA guidelines, and other matters.
(e) ?Participating in meetings with NYSERDA counsel and staff, NYSERDA's Members (board of directors) and other parties, as necessary or appropriate.
(f) ?Providing any other legal services, advice, or opinions relating to NYSERDA's programs, as requested.
