Project Description: FOR IRRIGATION (SPRINKLER) SYSTEM AT TOWN HALL AND PARK
Deadline for Submittals: Tuesday, April 14, 2026, by 5:00 PM
Sigurd Town (hereinafter referred to as “the Town”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors for the installation of an irrigation (sprinkler) system at the town hall and town park.
The selected contractor will be expected to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
No compensation will be provided for submitting bids. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submissions.
Scope of Services
Sigurd Town is seeking bids for the installation of a new sprinkler system to serve all grass areas at the town hall and town park.
The project will include:
●Design and layout of the sprinkler system to ensure proper functionality and coverage
●Installation of a complete underground sprinkler system to provide adequate and efficient coverage for all grass areas
●Installation of three (3) frost-free hydrants at designated locations
●All labor, materials, equipment, trenching, and site restoration necessary to complete the project
The system shall be fully operational upon completion.
Selection Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria, which correspond directly to the Proposal Requirements:
1.Overview & Relevant Experience (20 points)
2.System Design and Layout (20 points)
3.Cost Estimate (20 points)
Submittal Instructions Sealed proposals must be submitted in person to Sigurd Town Hall by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Sigurd Town Hall is location 465 North State Street and is open Monday-Wednesday 9-5.

Selection & Negotiation Process
Bids will be opened and evaluated at the Sigurd Town Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The highest-scoring contractor (out of 60 points) will be selected for contract negotiations. If negotiations with the top-ranked contractor are unsuccessful, the Town may initiate discussions with the next most-qualified firm.
