Bid Type: Request for Proposal Locations: State-Wide Keywords: Construction (Non Building), Storm Water System Design Bid Description: The Town of Fayston and the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission invite qualified firms to submit a sealed bid for the construction of two pre-approved watershed protection projects. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) administers the Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWP) to help respond to emergencies created by natural disasters. The Town of Fayston was awarded EWP funding to restore damage sustained by the July 2024 storms. Construction activities include streambank protection via riprap armoring, woody debris removal, and channel excavation where necessary.
