AMENDMENT 1: The purpose of this amendment is to:
1. Extend the closing date of the combined synopsis/solicitation from 2 December 2024 to 13 December 2024;
2. Answer industry questions.
Industry questions:
Q1. The CDRLs call out a First Article Acceptance Test Report (FAAT). The drawings are only for machined parts, not a full FBG Assembly. Will a full FBG Assembly need to be assembled with other GFM?
a. The individual machined piece part will not need to be assembled with other GFM.
Q2. If there is a FAAT Report, is there a Test Procedure that will be provided?
a. For FAAT qualification of the individual piece part, the vendor shall provide a full Coordinate-Measuring Machine (CMM) data, Material Conformance Certification in accordance with Note 5 of each drawing.
The CMM data along with the Material Conformance Certification will give the Government the necessary technical information to qualify the machined part would meet the FAAT qualifications when assembled at the higher-level assembly.

AMENDMENT 2: The purpose of this amendment is to answer industry questions.
Q1. Does NAVSEA have models for all Part Nos. within the RFQ?
a. Yes, NAVSEA has models for all part numbers within the RFQ.
Q2. Do vendors for Special Processes have to been NADCAP certified? (ie, Nickel-plating, etc.)
a. Negative.
