Bid Description:
The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is seeking Statements of Qualifications
(SOQs) from interested parties who wish to be evaluated and shortlisted for participation in
future Request for Proposals (RFP) related to the design, construction, ownership,
operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, also referred to
as Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), being deployed through the Infrastructure
Investment and Jobs Act National Electric Vehicle Supply Infrastructure Program. These
services may include projects located both along Vermont’s designated Alternative Fuel
Corridors (AFCs) and within community locations beyond highway corridors.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to onboard additional qualified
Interested Parties and establish a shortlist of firms eligible to submit competitive proposals in
response to future Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by VTrans for EVSE-related
projects. Inclusion on the shortlist does not guarantee award of work; however, it does allow
qualified firms to participate in subsequent procurement phases.
