Separate sealed BIDS for construction of Production Well #14 will be received by the City of Blackfoot at the address indicated below. Bids should be clearly marked on the exterior of the envelope in which they are submitted with the following information:

BIDS will be received until 2 P.M. Local Mountain Daylight Time, on December 2nd, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter. A contract will be awarded or bids rejected within 60 days of the bid opening.

A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project.

The Work consists of drilling one municipal groundwater well in Blackfoot.

Copies of the Contract Documents and Bid Documents may be obtained at the office of KELLER ASSOCIATES, INC., at the location noted above. Contract Documents and Bid Documents will be issued in either a pdf format on compact disc (CD) or as a Paper Document version. Bidders will be required to pay a nonrefundable cost of $50 for the Paper Document version or $30 for the CD version. Bid Documents can also be purchased electronically at www.kellerassociates.com via Quest CDN for $30. Click on ‘Current Projects Bidding’ at the top of the page, which will take you to a page that shows all of the projects which we have bidding at this time. Click on the ‘City of Blackfoot – Production Well #14’ hyperlink which will display information specific to the project.

All communications relative to this work shall be directed to the ENGINEER (Colter Hollingshead, Keller Associates, 208- 238-2146) prior to the opening of the Bid Proposals.

Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified cashier's check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Blackfoot in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price.

Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law.

The City of Blackfoot reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Blackfoot.
