The Government proposes to acquire on a One Time Buy Firm Fixed price contract, a quantity of 2 each of DAMPLER, FLUEL, NSN: 4520-01-089-4556, Part Number: 11453911, in support of the M-D6 Patriot Missile Weapon System.

Production Lead Time (PLT) with Government First Article Testing (FAT) is 1 each, 630 Days After Contract Award (DACA), with 30 additional days for FAT and review with deliveries to REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL 35898-5000.

THIS ITEM IS SOLE SOURCED IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) TO LENTROS ENGINEERING, INC., CAGE CODE 53416.

This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package,

This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain the quality of the part. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.

The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This solicitation will not close and may be posted prior to the synopsis closing date stated above. The solicitation shall be open for a minimum of 30 days from the date it is published.
