ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS - 2025 SERVICE CENTER SECURITY FENCING PROJECT
Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado will be received at the Office of the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, Colorado, 81321, until 3:00 P.M. MDT, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
Provide labor and furnish all materials and equipment necessary to install 2,100 feet of security fencing (72-inch-high chain-link fencing with three barbwire strands at the top). Remove existing gate and relocate to new fence. Install automatic gate with new key pad operator per plans and specifications. The work is located at the City Service Center.
NOTE: A Pre-Bid meeting and project walk-through will be held for all interested vendors on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM MDT. Vendors should meet at the City Service Center.
Bids shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or its duly authorized agent. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, and marked on the outside with “BID: 2025 Service Center Security Fencing Project,” and with the bidder's name.
The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
